Hi, I’m Debz!  Lemonpath is a place of Journals, Travel Inspiration, Photography and My Love of Elephants.

Karst Mountains, Yangshuo, Guangxi Province, China

I am originally from Wales in the UK.  I now live in Auckland, New Zealand, where I live with my three sons, one cat, and two chickens.

Before settling in New Zealand  I spent two years on a working holiday in Australia and visited various countries in Europe.   I have travelled around New Zealand and more recently I have visited Samoa, China, Tahiti and Bali.

I have lived with Melanoma for eleven years. You can read my Melanoma story here. I have now been Melanoma free for two years.

I am passionate about Travel and Art. Once my two sons have left home I have plans to travel more extensively and spend more time painting.

Hey. I see that you emigrated from UK to Auckland. My boyfriend and I are in the process of that too and fly out on the 18th of January. We have 1 year visas but with his profession being sous chef we are quite confident that we will be able to stay longer if we decide to.

Did you find the move difficult in terms of getting visas after the first year?
